Reach the Highest Point of Kos

Hidden above the forests and villages of the island lies Psilo Vouno (846 m) — the highest natural point of Kos and one of the island’s most rewarding mountain experiences.

The Summit of Endurance is a dynamic hiking adventure designed for travellers who want to explore the wild mountain landscape of Kos. Leaving the coastal scenery behind, the trail gradually climbs through natural mountain paths toward the exposed ridges of the island’s central mountain range.

As you gain altitude, the landscape changes step by step — from green slopes to rocky terrain and finally to the open summit ridge where the island unfolds beneath your feet.

Along the route, hikers encounter short sections of scrambling — a hiking technique where you use your hands to balance and move upward across rocky passages. These moments add a sense of adventure and make the ascent more engaging, while still remaining accessible to active hikers. No climbing equipment is required.
